John is a Certified Public Accountant, member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and a registered KRA tax agent. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Nairobi, aBachelors Degree of Commerce from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK).

John  has  over  13  years  of  outstanding  experience  in intricate  and  complex  areas  of  taxation,  financial  reporting  and  litigation and  have  earned  indispensable  skills  in  analytical  reviews,  business analytics and auditing. John’s experience spans audit planning, reviews and engagements, corporation taxes, business advisory, transfer pricing, tax  arbitration  processes,  personal  taxes,  VAT,  withholding  taxes,  VAT recovery, tax mitigation among others.

John  has  worked  for  PKF  Kenya  as  tax  compliance manager for 8 years and RSM East Africa as an audit senior for 4 years. John has been involved in various audit and tax assignments for various clients  including  Telkom  Kenya  Ltd,  The  Nairobi  Hospital,  TPS  Eastern Africa  Ltd,  Kenya  Wine  Agencies  Ltd,  Unga  Group  Limited,  Aga  Khan University  Hospital,  Strathmore  University,  United  States  International University among others
